We stayed for 2 nights in January in a twin room for me and my teenage daughter, we had a double bed and a single in a beautiful large room, it had lovely bed linens and was very very clean. The bathroom was also lovely and clean and modern. As vegans we often struggle with eating out but they really looked after us, I bought along my own rice milk and vitality spread and some Linda McCartney sausages for breakfast but everything else was provided for us, it was top quality food, I highly recommend this b&b
A warm welcome awaits you. Stayed here on the 5th July 2014. The room was excellent plenty of room, very clean, nicely decorated. The full breakfast was absolutely lovely choice of cereal, toast and full english breakfast. Thankyou
I love this place, if you are interested enough there is a lovely story to go with your stay, in involves a king stopping there for a drink or a meal I think on the way back from battle.
The lady is a lovely host, the rooms are clean and tidy, definitely not shabby, this lady has lots of class and it’s reflected in her b&b, always tries hard to tend to all your needs, very accessible and off a main road and nestled between that and the canal, so if you wish you can arrange a boat trip on your doorstep, this lady sets a lovely table and you are looked after by a nice waitress, breakfast was really good, all the usuals and a slice of black pudding if wanted, really love this Olde Duncombe inn, definitely one of my favourite places to stay and have done on more than a handful of times in 2016 and 2017.
Super don’t delay your booking here. All shops and even a garden centre are a very short walk. Top class. Ample parking
Stayed three enjoyable nights. Room immaculate good food for, breakfast the best quality ever. Jayne could not have bee been more attentive to our needs. Will definitely return as soon as possible.next to the canal very relaxing watching the boats pass by from. Ma me and john liverpool.5 star for everything.
We had a lovely stay here back in October. Immaculate room, great breakfast, and super location. We went to Blackpool for the day, Forest of Bowland, and Lancaster city, all worth a visit. The pub opposite was fine for meals, average pub food.
Stayed here with my husband for my birthday weekend an absolutely lovely quaint spotlessly clean place. We had a very warm welcome from the lovely owner. Our room was absolutely spotless lovely large bed with good quality bedding was the best night's sleep I had had in ages everything in the room was spotless. The breakfast in the morning was freshly cooked and absolutely lovely first class with excellent ingredients. You could pick what you wanted from the menu the 2nd morning I had a lighter option. Nothing was too much trouble I will definitely be going back with my elderly mother and the lovely owner said she would put us in the downstairs room. What a wonderful place to stay week worth every penny.
